Ham And Green Bean Soup

Low in carbs high in nutrients and quick to prepare. Add some spices and a thought of sour cream to make a lovely soup to please anyone.

As I currently have some time, I was looking on the web last week. Looking for fresh, challenging thoughts, inspiring dishes that I have never tested before, to impress my loved ones with. Hunting for a long time but couldn’t find too many interesting things. Right before I wanted to give up on it, I ran across this delicious and simple treat by chance. It seemed so mouth-watering on its snapshot, that required fast action.

It had been not so difficult to imagine just how it’s created, its taste and just how much my husband will like it. Mind you, it is rather simple to delight the guy in terms of puddings. Anyway, I visited the blog: Suncakemom and followed the step-by-step instuctions that have been coupled with great photographs of the procedure. It just makes life less difficult. I can suppose it’s a slight inconvenience to take photos in the middle of cooking in the kitchen as you may usually have sticky hands thus i highly appreciate the time and effort she placed in for making this blogpost .

With that said I’m encouraged presenting my own, personal recipes in a similar fashion. Many thanks for the idea.

I had been tweaking the initial mixture to make it for the taste of my loved ones. I must mention that it was an awesome success. They prized the taste, the thickness and loved having a delicacy such as this in the middle of a stressful workweek. They quite simply asked for even more, many more. So the next occasion I am not going to commit the same miscalculation. I’m gonna multiply the quantity to keep them happy.

Thanks to Suncakemom for the toothsome Green Bean soup.

Pour oil into a pot and add the diced onion, carrot and celery.

Add salt and saute until the onion gets a glassy / translucent look.

Throw the bay leaf and the crushed garlic in then saute until fragrant.

Mix in the sliced or diced smoked meat as well.

Pour in the green beans then add the water.

Spoon in the paprika and any other optional vegetables like carrots.

Bring it to boil and simmer it for 10 minutes or until the vegetables get the desired texture.

Mix in the sour cream and let it settle for a couple of minutes before serving.
