As I most recently have some time, I had been searching on the web last week. Attempting to find fresh, exciting thoughts, inspirational dishes that I’ve never tested before, to impress my family with. Looking for a while but could not discover too many interesting stuff. Right before I thought to give up on it, I came across this scrumptious and easy dessert by chance. The dessert looked so mouth-watering on its snapshot, that required rapid actions.

It absolutely was not so difficult to imagine the way it’s created, its taste and just how much my hubby might love it. Mind you, it is extremely easy to delight him in terms of desserts. Yes, I’m a blessed one. Or maybe he is.Anyway, I got into the webpage: Suncakemom and followed the step-by-step instuctions that have been combined with nice graphics of the task. It really makes life faster and easier. I could imagine that it is a slight effort to shoot pics in the midst of cooking in the kitchen as you most often have sticky hands and so i pretty appreciate the time and energy she put in to build this blogpost .

With that in mind I am empowered presenting my own formulas similarly. Thanks for the concept.

I had been tweaking the original recipe create it for the taste of my family. Need to tell you it turned out an awesome success. They loved the flavor, the thickness and loved having a sweet such as this during a lively week. They basically wanted even more, more and more. Hence the next occasion I am not going to make the same mistake. I am likely to twin the quantity to get them happy.

This is based on the Arepas Recipe from SunCakeMom

Mix the ingredients in a bowl by hand until the dough comes together into a ball. If it sticks to the hand or the side of the bowl, add more flour to it. If it seems dry and falling apart, add more water to it.

Add oil to the dough ball and knead it further.

Flatten the dough into a circle shape.

Divide the dough into eight equal parts.

Make balls from the eight dough parts.

Flatten the dough balls into ½ ” / 1.5cm tall circles. This would yield about 4″/10cm wide circles.

With an oily hand rub together the cracks on the side of the dough if present.

Pour oil into a pan and fry one side of the circle shaped dough on medium heat. It takes about 5 minutes to achieve a golden brown color and hard outer layer.

Flip over the dough and fry the other side as well.

When both sides are done place them into the oven for 10 – 15 minutes on 350°F / 180°C.

Fill with any filling of choice.
